Music Industry Milestones
In 1998, BMI present Mason Williams with a special Citation of Achievement in recognition of the great international popularity of Classical Gas. It has logged over six million air plays and is the number one all time instrumental composition.
Mason has received many honors from Broadcast Music Inc. BMI is an American performing rights organization that represents approximately 300,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in all genres of music.
